I wanted to give you all an update on our service offerings for 2026. After reviewing the workload, I’ve made the decision to streamline our services so we can focus on what we do best.

The following services will continue as normal:

Baby bump painting, Face painting, Balloon twisting, Characters, Craft workshops, Glitter tattoos, Hair services.

The following services will be reduced or adjusted:

Bubble Shows – outsourced subject to availability, Temporary tattoos – now only offered as part of character bookings, Party games – now only offered as part of character bookings, Nail salon – now only offered as part of character bookings.

The following services will be discontinued:

Pamper parties, Face bling, Discos

At Making Faces NZ, we create unforgettable moments where creativity meets wonder. Founded in Wellington by mum-of-three Tina—whose children became her earliest (and most wiggly) canvases—this business blossomed from playful beginnings into a vibrant team of artists and entertainers who share a deep love for colour, sparkle, and joy.

From face painting to full-blown party magic, we’re passionate about transforming ordinary events into extraordinary experiences. In 2017, Tina trained professionally in face painting, sharpening her craft and igniting a vision that became Making Faces NZ.
